Moore & Bruce, LLP was formed in 1993 by attorneys that
had practiced together in the Washington, D.C. office of a
mid-size New York law firm. There they comprised portions
of the tax and international practice groups.
The founders of the Firm were joined by other attorneys,
most of whom they had practiced with at one time or another
in the past. Over time, other attorneys joined the Firm. One
attorney, who practices U.S. and Chinese intellectual property
law, left to join the U.S. Government. Another attorney left
to join the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and subsequently
returned.
The Firm was originally located in the Army and Navy Club
building on Farragut Square in Washington, D.C.
In 1998, the Firm moved to the Adams-Mason House (c. 1810)
in Georgetown, the historic part of Washington, D.C.
In 2003, as the offices of Charles M. Bruce, consultant in overseas
law, offices were opened in Mayfair, London.
The Firm maintains representative offices in Wilmington,
Delaware and Zurich. |
